Now, we have everything.”

We are so proud and excited to share these images with you today! Baby Mason came to us recently, fresh and sweet, along with his parents, Anthony and Sara. Dawn Sela Photography was honored to be the ones alongside their family as they awaited their sweet son (we did their maternity photos), and then we did their newborn session as well. Mason was sleepy and perfect, and mom and dad were enamored with his little expressions, baby lips, and curled fists.
Their maternity session was also a beautiful example of what to wear for maternity portraits. Sara paired a solid tee with a a pretty, solid color cardigan, and then added a printed skirt! By keeping things simple with just one print, it kept the focus on her and Anthony and their smiles, rather than distracting. Solids are a great option for maternity portraits, especially in pretty, subtle colors like her periwinkle sweater. Anthony being in solids also kept things streamlined and less “busy”. Other great pieces for mamas-to-be include: chambray button downs (layered over tanks), solid tees and tanks, tunics or dresses, jeans and flowy cardigans, bohemian style dresses (fitted over the tummy so you don’t look overwhelmed by fabric). Our studio is always happy to help answer questions about appropriate wear or ensembles that photograph well.
Occasionally, we share sneak peeks or additional shots on our Instagram account, like we did above! We love sharing inspiration, smiles, and beautiful art on our account, and would love if you’d join us.
